16 years ago we visited Bhutan when non-governmental travel agencies were just allowed.
We have chosen Footprints Bhutan for this trip to the eastern part of Bhutan and to visit the Lhuentse-festival on December 21st of 2007.We indeed found a much faster and better response than with bigger agencies that seem to focus on group travel and care less for catering to individual travelers. We had a most wonderful trip, thanks to a fantastic guide (Mr.Namgayla) and an enthusiastic driver and a comfortable car.
They did everything to make this trip enjoyable for us and our university-trained guide gave us so much information in amazingly fluent English.
We appreciated the evening and diner at Michael Palin's favorite restaurant “Bhutan Kitchen" in Thimphu and we left Bhutan, saying "we count on you to organize our next trip to Bhutan".

Hello Daza:
Thank you again to you, Namgay, Punzo and Tashi for the wonderful experience you arranged for us in Bhutan. Namgay's knowledge of the culture, history and political development of your beautiful country is excellent and he also gave us thoughtful insights into the attitudes and thinking of the peop
le. Tashi and Punzo are skillful, safe drivers and we enjoyed their pleasant and courteous company during the trip. Namgay's and Punzo's willingness
and adaptability to undertake some rigorous hikes which were not on the normal program allowed us to discover some breathtaking and rarely visited sights. Moreover, we greatly appreciate that you and your team went out of your way to welcome and accommodate our son Nicholas, who was working with the Tarayana Foundation, so that he could join us on part of our tour.
We would certainly recommend your service to our friends and anyone else who is interested in discovering Bhutan.
Best wishes,
Geza and Marcia Tatrallyay
